In a cataclysm of dark magic, a proud elven kingdom succumbed to eternal night...

The legend of the fall into darkness

The ancient elven land of Miyeritar flourished under the starlight, until it was ravaged by a shadow storm known as the Dark Disaster . The skies darkened with arcane fury, and the earth screamed as forbidden magic consumed forests and cities. That fateful night marked the end of an era : a once radiant kingdom was reduced to smoldering ashes beneath a sky devoid of dawn.

But the fate of the fallen elves did not end there. As punishment for their pride and dark alliances, the elven gods unleashed an irrevocable curse. The elves' skin turned obsidian, their eyes blazed with purple fire , and they were transformed into the first drow . Cast out from the light, they fled to the endless caverns of the Underdark. Thus, a new nation was born in the depths, forged by exile and vengeance. The Banishment of the Drow forever marked the beginning of a hidden empire beneath Faerûn, where the bitter memory of the lost surface fuels legends and whispers.

The art of a mythical era in your hands

This premium art print immortalizes that legendary moment from the Dungeons & Dragons (Forgotten Realms) universe with stunning detail and drama. As you gaze upon it, you will feel the immensity of the tragedy and the epic scale of the drow's birth.
